Short version

Terrace doesn't have accounts, doesn't collect personal data, and doesn't track you. It shows public football results and fixtures for the team you choose.

What Terrace does not do

• No account creation or sign-in.
• No collection of names, emails, or contact information.
• No analytics or advertising trackers.
• No sharing or selling of your data to anyone, ever.

What's stored on your device

Your chosen team, your accent colour, and which results you've revealed are stored on your device, and if you use iCloud they may sync across your own devices through Apple's standard iCloud key-value storage. Your accent colour and what you've revealed stay on your devices and are never sent to us. The team you follow is sent to Terrace's own server, because looking up your scores and sending your full-time notification both need to know it — see below.

Match data

Terrace fetches fixtures and results through its own small server, which in turn gets the data from football-data.org, a third-party football data provider. The app sends only what's needed to look up scores and fixtures — the team you've selected. No account, name, email, or advertising identifier is ever sent, and request logs are not used to build any profile of you.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Apple issues Terrace a push token for your device. That token and the team you follow are stored on Terrace's server, because a full-time notification has to reach the people following the teams that just played. Nothing else is stored with them: no account, no name, no email, no advertising identifier, and nothing that identifies you.

The server is never told whether you use No spoilers. It sends everyone the same notification, which never contains the score — your device decides whether to fill it in. A notification that fails therefore costs you a score rather than spoiling one.

Turning notifications off in iOS Settings stops them appearing. Your token is deleted from the server once Apple reports that your device is no longer accepting notifications, which is what happens when you delete the app.
